11:01 dod bowtie: hello. Any news on the test segfault issue ?
11:02 bowtie dod, hi
11:03 bowtie to be honest i have not looked as i only have i386 and this appliers to be a 64bit issue
11:03 dod Nope, I can reproduce it on i386
11:04 dod In fact, as soon as DBI 1.619 is loaded, the issue occurs on i386 x86_64 padre 0.96 or 0.95
11:04 bowtie ok, what is the ticket number please and I will take a look?
11:05 dod Hmm, since I was not the first to talk about this issue here, I did not create a ticket
11:05 dod let me check if one exists
11:05 bowtie thanks

11:17 dod okay :-)
11:17 bowtie dod, is DBI 1.620 ok?
11:18 dod no
11:18 dod DBI 1.619 is the first to trigger the issue

21:24 bowtie stkowski, why don't you use bennie as your irc nickname?
21:27 stkowski It's stilly really. The first true internet interaction I had was on IRC, and I used this nickname at the time. I've never bothered to change it. Heck, it's still shortened down to 8 chars. (Stokowski was the conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra in Disney's Fantasia. I do a lot of music.) 'Bennie' was a more personal-use nickname that came later. Which is a long way to say: stkowski is business acceptable use stuff. And bennie will have non business use. Tho
21:27 stkowski two areas tend to overlap when doing open-source stuff.
21:29 stkowski Why do you use bowtie?
21:31 bowtie I used to were them, so it became my handle a long time ago, like I have used it ever since :)
21:31 stkowski Nifty!
21:31 stkowski You wore them for work? Or fun?
21:33 bowtie for work, when consulting, it helped with the image, also you don't get covered in fluff when it gets dragged across an old open case machine
21:34 stkowski Good point
21:34 stkowski I end up wearing vests and other tie-negating clothing to avoid that exact problem
21:35 bowtie and on nights out you don't destroy them :)
21:37 bowtie but you have to learn how to tie them without a mirror, as plonkers like to undo them
21:37 stkowski Yup.
21:37 stkowski I have a few cheaters for performance. But it's really nice to have a properly tied one. I have a black and red one both for concert work
21:38 bowtie what instruments do you play?
21:47 stkowski In orchestra and band, usually bass clarinet and clarinet
21:47 bowtie so what :)
21:49 stkowski hehe. So what? it's fun. This weekend I have a performance of Rite of Spring and it's been kicking my butt.
21:51 bowtie your serious side
21:52 stkowski I don't follow?
21:53 bowtie so what as in jazz is fun, there for Stravinsky's is serious
21:54 stkowski Oh.. yeah :)
21:54 stkowski Other groups I play in do the fun stuff too.
21:55 stkowski It's all fun in the end… but yeah, not wanting to hit a clam on stage in performance can put a little stage pressure on you

22:18 bowtie stkowski, as it will be weeks before next release, we just need to wait for szabgab to give you commit bit and you will be able to apply yourself, i will bug him again :)
22:21 stkowski Cool. Thanks!
22:21 stkowski Releases happen every few weeks?
22:23 bowtie not quite, ask waxhead when he is around, he is GMT +10 or +11
