I am new to Perl, but I would like to use it to create text files with some scripted content and calculations. To this end I have created a windows powershell script that runs the perl interpreter and redirects the output to the clipboard and to a text file in a directory. I have a simple bat file that launches the powershell script. Both the bat and the ps1 expect the path to the pl file as an the first argument. I would like to c |

tobyink, this method of dialog and panel design was implemented by alias, I can see that at an initial inspection it may seam to be a lot to come to terms with, as I did, but it now just makes sense to me. |

bowtie: I don't have any problem with the use of FBP in general; but frankly I didn't want to change the UI at all - just the backend code to actually implement the stuff behind those buttons. One small change was needed though to allow multi-file commits. |

tobyink, I understand, thats why I generated the Cookbook wiki pages and code to pass on my journey in using xwFB and P-P-FB, did you notice the warning that alias put in the generated files, so that when another user makes a modification they don't trample all over a manually modified enhancement. |

bowtie: hahaha. that's funny. I used Padre::Plugin::FormBuilder to regenerate Padre::Wx::FBP::VCS from Padre.fbp and it's byte-for-byte identical with my handwritten one. They literally have the same MD5 hash. |
