08:19 bowtie dod1, we got there in the end, :)
08:22 dod1 yes :-). I still have another pet peeve with outline attribute, but it's a minor bug

08:51 bowtie dod1, ok, go for it, tell me about your new peeve :)
08:54 dod1 When editing a class with some Moose attributes, open the outline, click on an attribute, then click in the editor window,
08:54 dod1 You'll see that the attribute thingy in the outline is now closed. It should stay open.
08:56 dod1 do you have a similar behavior ?
08:57 bowtie yes, it closed attribute tag on refresh
08:57 dod1 is that on purpose ?
08:57 bowtie you want it to remember the current state,
08:57 dod1 yes
08:57 bowtie I din't know
08:58 dod1 no problem :-)
08:58 bowtie what about when you switch files in editor
08:59 dod1 same problem: attribute tag is closed
08:59 bowtie I think, that is why
08:59 dod1 ok, but the methods tag behaves correctly
09:00 bowtie so if user opens att tag, it should be open for all files, same for all outline tags?
09:01 dod1 correction: the method tag is opened when I switch files
09:01 bowtie ok I can see this, I just need to poke around and emulate, methods to atts
09:01 bowtie i think
09:02 dod1 I think: when opening a file, the default layout is fine, but open/closed tags should not be altered when refreshing the outline
09:02 bowtie yes, same for all tags?
09:02 dod1 looks like it
09:03 bowtie shell we ticket this?
09:04 dod1 if the fix is not trivial and done in the next 5mn, yes :-)
09:04 dod1 and *not* done
09:04 bowtie or just poke around and do it, as we don't require 3rd party
09:04 dod1 if you know how to fix this, just go on. no need for paperwork
09:05 dod1 I can test the patch on my side if you want
09:05 bowtie dod1, I will take a look later today, if I can see the light, I will just do, other wise a ticket for thoughts
09:05 dod1 ok
09:05 bowtie any comments on updated Plugin Manager
09:06 dod1 oh, no, I'm still on vanilla padre 0.96
09:06 bowtie O, I thought you ran, trunk as well :(
09:07 dod1 I sometimes check it out and test it, but I mainly run my Debian package
09:07 bowtie makes sense :)
09:08 dod1 :-)
09:08 bowtie It's good to know that the Mo* works on 0.96
09:08 dod1 What's the "Moo*" ?
09:09 bowtie Moose and Moo as well as MooseX all work with PPIx-Editor... update :)
09:10 dod1 ok. that's cool. I use more and more often Moose :-)
09:10 bowtie I have not tested with Mouse due to comments in Moo
09:10 dod1 I use Mouse (ANy::Moose) with COnfig::Model, but I sometimes have issues...
09:12 bowtie have you read -> http://shadow.cat/blog/matt-s-trout/moo-versus-any-moose/
09:12 dod1 but I may switch Config::Model to Moo (once Debian wheezy is released)
09:12 bowtie how long, are they on time
09:12 dod1 no, not yet. I have missed this blog while preparing my vacation
09:13 dod1 Wheezy should be released in December or so (may be Feb ...)
09:13 bowtie some where nice, or DIY
09:13 dod1 Both :-)
09:14 bowtie your partner has a long list for you :)
09:14 dod1 I was scuba diving in Spain, then visiting around Toulouse, then DIY at home
09:15 bowtie are you wreck diver
09:15 bowtie or mixed gasses
09:16 bowtie I think that's technical diving
09:17 dod1 Not so much: interesting wrecks are often quite deep, I tend to avoid deep dive. These days, I dont dive as often as I used to, so I prefer long shallow dives (by shallow, I mean no more than 40m ;-) ).
09:18 bowtie cool, with pictures
09:19 dod1 Sometimes, depends on whether I have to look after the dive buddy or not. When I dive with beginners, I don't take a camera

09:27 bowtie dod1, found it
09:28 dod1 :-D
09:29 shadowpaste "bowtie" at 217.168.150.38 pasted "keep open att. in outline" (25 lines) at http://paste.scsys.co.uk/206054
09:33 bowtie dod1, dose that work for you :)
09:36 bowtie just dod now
09:58 dod bowtie: thanks, I'll look into it this afternoon
10:01 bowtie cool, I have put in trunk already, it's just as easy to close, after accumulating the info :)

12:11 dod1 bowtie: can't say that I'm a fan of the workaround you provided: since the attributes tag is always opened, some people are bound to complain
12:19 dod1 ideally an outline should be "tied" to an opened file so it could keep track of which outline tag is expanded or collapsed.
13:01 bowtie dod1, yes, but I was hoping, there would be other critiques and offers :)
13:01 bowtie better on than off at the present
13:02 dod1 Agreed
13:03 bowtie I am sure this won't be the last :)
