12:59 botbot Hi I am botbot the #padre channel bot (v0.18), please op me
13:09 dod bowtie: err, hi, yes. you're right.
13:09 dod I'll try to find some time this afternoon

14:33 bowtie dod: lol
14:34 bowtie dod: it was just a reminder, can we talk first, please
14:38 dod sure. what's going on ?
14:39 bowtie dod: I think some of the issues are related to Term::ReadLine, this is so with OSX
14:39 dod Hum, I've seen the debug hang and I'm working on Linux
14:39 bowtie the extra tests in Debug::Client 0.26 show this
14:40 dod although I have not retried with Debug::Client 0.26
14:41 bowtie I wanted to default the none win users to Term::ReadLine::Gnu but I can not due to external dev headers
14:42 bowtie so I was going to ask it you could check what happends if you find an issue/bug against TRGnu rather than TRPerl
14:42 dod ok
14:42 bowtie dod: thanks
14:47 dod bowtie: padre hangs when run with 'PERL_RL=Perl padre' or 'PERL_RL=Gnu padre'
14:50 bowtie dod: can you paste the output off t/06-term.t please
14:50 bowtie s/off/of/
14:52 dod from svn ?
14:52 bowtie dod: sure
14:53 bowtie or cpan, you choice :)
14:53 dod since I have trouble running 'svn update' behind a firewall, I'll go for Debian repo (from CPAN)
14:54 bowtie dod: ok
14:55 bowtie or http://cpan.metacpan.org/authors/id/B/BO/BOWTIE/Debug-Client-0.26.tar.gz
14:57 dod bowtie: http://paste.debian.net/10920/
15:00 bowtie dod: that's cool, you are always going to run in Term::ReadLine::Gnu, which as far as I can ascertain is the preferred option.
15:01 dod bowtie: I'm more worried by line 7&8 : I'm not running on win32 :-p
15:08 bowtie dod: against win32 Term::ReadLine is supposed to go in to basic default emulation mode, but in early version this did not happen, hence the skip :(
15:10 dod ok, the skip message is wrong then (inverted logic)
15:11 dod goota go
15:11 bowtie dod: assuming that the Term is ok, what is the error
15:11 dod gotta go
15:11 bowtie latter then :)
15:11 dod ok
