11:04 botbot Welcome user_173
11:05 user_173 hi
11:05 user_173 i can't use the mouse wheel in padre main window
11:05 user_173 any idea ?
11:25 sewi Hi user_173. Which OS?
12:26 Kirkegaard I have a rather strange error (using padre 1.0, win 7) I try to run a script and get an warning pop-up "Line 47: the second parameter of a split is a string, not an array. Do you want to continue?" but there is no split on line 47. And there is only one split (    @array = split (//, $input)) and I think it should be okay;
12:28 Kirkegaard Anyone have an idea? It works fine, but rather annoying to get this pop-up

12:51 sewi Looks ok.
12:52 sewi You could switch the beginner-error-warnings off in the preferences. But maybe it's a somewhere hidden split in/around line 47?
12:53 Kirkegaard I use strict, warnings, diagnostics. will try to toggle them on and off and did not know there was a beginner warnings so will try that as well.
12:54 Kirkegaard But my script is very simple (I'm a beginner) so should not really be any very fancy stuff
12:54 sewi There are few warnings for "uncommon" source constructs which are syntax-valid, but usually not used by intend.
12:57 Kirkegaard Bingo sewi, tuned "enable perl beginner mode" off, and no more error pop up
12:57 Kirkegaard Thanks!
