07:30 IamTEMP Currently updating Padre, seeing if that'll fix it before asking - But having issues with perl code not executing like you'd expect...

08:12 IamTEMP So I have been using a while (!$out) loop for pixel traversal. And it usually works when I set $out = 1, loop ends. But I've added a new while loop of the exact same kind, and strange things are happening...
08:13 IamTEMP Within the new while loop (which comes before the current one, if that matters), I have if elsif else for certain conditions. The issue is, when the else block is triggered, $out = 1 doesn't change the local variable $out. Even the 'last' command doesn't break out of the loop...
08:14 IamTEMP Trying the code segment in the debugger, step-by-step, $out changes as expected there, but not while the program is actually running. Is it possibly something wrong with the IDE?
