21:12 user_3745 Hi All
21:13 user_3745 need small help .. this a perl novice .... I am writing bot to parse the content of BBC website
21:13 user_3745 to index their web site
21:14 user_3745 Issue is that they have flash embadding
21:14 user_3745 is there any way I can copy the flash emembedded
21:33 atcroft user_3745: Probably better to ask that in the perl channel itself, but a quick search indicated at least 2 possibilities just on the first results page, FLV::Info and Perl::Flash (disclaimer: I have not used either, nor am I familiar with them other than as the results of a search for "perl read flash content").
21:35 atcroft user_3745: Have you looked into if the BBC has an accessible API that would be better suited for the kind of parsing you are wanting to do?
21:35 atcroft (Had to ask.)
21:47 user_3745 ok
