01:08 jberger mohawk: run4flat used to have a cron job that synced the github clone
01:13 mohawk ah, ok
01:13 mohawk no longer running?
01:13 mohawk i think GNOME use an "on commit" script to do their syncing
01:13 mohawk (they sync their git server onto a github mirror)
01:14 sivoais can sourceforge run post-commit scripts?
01:14 mohawk that is an absolutely superb question
01:14 mohawk i have no idea
01:17 sivoais it doesn't look like it is built in
01:23 mohawk it might be possible if one asked them?
01:27 sivoais maybe, but I have no issue with just making SF my remote and pulling from there
01:30 mohawk well, that's what i did too
01:31 mohawk but it seems like a bad idea to have a not-in-sync mirror there
01:34 sivoais I agree.
01:34 sivoais Also (if I had the tuits), I would really like to work on this test coverage bug <http://sourceforge.net/p/pdl/bugs/334/>.
01:35 sivoais I don't know enough about PDL and that seems like a good way to learn more and improve docs at the same time.
01:42 mohawk good man
01:44 mohawk get stuck in ;-)
11:56 mohawk i emailed william parker to see if he's still interested in getting involved
11:56 mohawk chm, is there anything else i can do to help re PDL dev release?
18:55 chm joined #pdl
18:56 chm mohawk:  PDL_BOOT fix went into core-cleanup since I thought the final 64bit index support would take a lot less time/effort
18:57 chm sivoais: I'm pretty sure sf can do post commit scripts as that is how we post commits to the pdl-porters list
18:59 chm sivoais: Improved test coverage would be a great help in maintaining compatibility for PDL3 work with PDL-2.x
19:41 chm mohawk: I'm rolling up the PDL devel release now.
19:42 chm BTW, I first requested a git tree to release from in my email of 14-Apr so from the time you made the
19:43 chm repo to the time of a release to CPAN is <3 days.  As I've mentioned before, #pdl is fine for "chatting"
19:43 chm but it doesn't work well for some developers and it definitely doesn't provide a searchable archive for
19:44 chm future reference.  E.g., ideas for features or problems with PDL would be better discussed on
19:44 chm the mailing lists and have tickets created on sf.net to track them.
22:12 jberger actually, the channel log is searchable
