19:32 sivoais interesting <https://github.com/blog/2051-protected-branches-and-required-status-checks>
21:01 chm jberger: What does the coverage check in the github pdl branches mean and how to fix?
21:01 chm I don't want to break anything but the red X is annoying...
21:02 jberger chm: can you give an example?
21:02 jberger I'm assuming its coveralls
21:03 jberger but I've never used it before
21:03 chm yes, it is the coveralls.
21:03 chm see longlong-double-fix here https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/branches/active
21:03 jberger code coverage decreased
21:04 jberger means you are adding more functionality than tests
21:04 chm Fixing broken code, yes.
21:05 chm The delta-coverage is <0.5% or some small number.
21:06 chm We're working on adding tests as well but the red X makes it look like something getting better is really bad
21:07 chm Thanks for the confirmation.  Maybe there could be a threshhold so <1% could be grey and not red.
21:07 chm Regardless, tests are coming.  Will ignore coverage X for now.
21:08 chm jberger: Thanks for the help.
21:08 jberger I'm not sure if that can be tweaked, as I've said I've never configured it myself
22:51 sivoais chm: yes, it can be tweaked
22:51 sivoais if you login to <https://coveralls.io/github/PDLPorters/pdl>
22:52 sivoais (on the left where it says "Sign in")
22:53 sivoais oh, it looks like you can only tweak when you get a notification (e-mail)
22:54 sivoais but you can see where the coverage changed
