05:57 * sivoais is still thinking about and using PDL ;-)
05:58 sivoais I have the start of a .mat file reader using libmatio that works better than the PDL::IO::Matlab module <https://github.com/jlapeyre/PDL-IO-Matlab>
05:58 sivoais I just need to extract it out of my thesis code.

21:51 chm sivoais: hello, nice to see you coming up for PDL "air"
21:52 chm mohawk, sivoais: what is the status of the PDLA separation?
21:52 chm My current project is to update Perl OpenGL to modern opengl
21:53 chm There are also a number of improvements for PDL that might ought be put into PDLA rather than PDL.
21:53 chm In addition, with the POGL update, I would be starting on PDL::Graphics::TriD spliting as well.
21:56 chm mohawk, sivoais:  Do you think it makes sense to update PDLA from the PDL-2.015 with 64bit support first?
22:13 sivoais chm: definitely. Doing the work on PDLA is the top priority before any features or bug-fixing. It only needs to be done once.
22:14 sivoais 1 more week and I'll be ready to take a crack at it
