05:20 bulk88 willthechill I am pushing changes, egh, to somewhere, looks liek you closed the PRs
05:22 willthechill I just merged the pull requests
05:22 willthechill is that bad?
05:24 bulk88 in my personal opinion in my cpan projects I never merge PRs, I only rebase public contributions unless there is a very specific reason to show the branch
05:25 bulk88 i want a travis run, I get those when I create or repush to PRs on braswell/rperl
05:25 willthechill okay sorry
05:25 willthechill :/
05:26 bulk88 should I open another PR or just push directly to braswell master? travis hasnt been passing for 2 days anyway
05:26 willthechill until the end of YAPC you can just push to wbraswell master
05:26 willthechill because everything I'm doing is with you
05:28 willthechill should I be trying to figure out why Travis is failing at this point, or are you in the middle of hacking so it would be a waste of time?
05:30 bulk88 i pushed a fix for the uninit warnings in file spec
05:30 willthechill just now?
05:30 bulk88 yes
05:30 willthechill okay I JUST ran git pull so I must've already got it.  :)
05:31 travis-ci RPerl build failed. William N. Braswell, Jr. says 'Merge pull request #14 from bulk88/quotes_fix
05:31 travis-ci http://travis-ci.org/wbraswell/rperl/builds/66161272 https://github.com/wbraswell/rperl/compare/ca77fdd70462...065e148d1417
05:31 willthechill also, you have changed the double quotes to single quotes in the Hash_cpp.pm file, but not in the other places
05:31 willthechill such as Array_cpp.pm, Integer_cpp.pm, etc.
05:32 bulk88 when I get test failures for other files ill fix it at that time, i want to get it to a state where strawberry passes atleast for 1 commit
05:32 willthechill roger that
05:33 willthechill the first crash in t/10 can be tested via the following manual call to rperl:  rperl -t -v -m ops=PERL -m types=PERL ./lib/RPerl/Test/AlgorithmMath/geometric_algebra_ipbve_good_00.pl
05:33 willthechill which returns:
05:33 willthechill Failed `perl -cW` syntax check with the following message(s):
05:33 willthechill Use of uninitialized value $file in string ne at /usr/lib/perl/5.18/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 139.
05:33 willthechill Use of uninitialized value $file in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/lib/perl/5.18/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 147.
05:33 bulk88 commit "fix travis 10_parse.t failures " should fix that, im still watching travis
05:34 bulk88 travids failed
05:35 willthechill yes I have already pulled the latest code and it is still giving the error
05:36 bulk88 i am retesting it locally, there is 1 other fix I tried that I didn't push because I thought it didn't fix anything
05:37 willthechill okay I'll watch for changes and test them out on my laptop as each comes in
05:37 willthechill I think I'm gonna go to sleep now, anything else for me to check before I crash out?
05:37 bulk88 editing blib is dangerous because I have to remember to copy the changes back to the git tracked versions
05:37 bulk88 no
05:38 willthechill haha yes I never edit anything in blib  :P
05:38 bulk88 things get lost occasionally going from blib to git tracked, i have this problem on perl mprojects too
05:38 willthechill dang that's kinda annoying
05:38 willthechill I would imagine!
05:39 willthechill okay I'm gonna go, will leave myself online and logged into IRC, I have my cell phone here so you can text me any time tonight and I'll sit up and check the computer
05:39 bulk88 i see a file spec problem
05:39 bulk88 bye
05:39 bulk88 i see the unit warning
05:39 willthechill I'm on call for RPerl 24/7!  ;)
05:39 willthechill okay I'm here if you figure it out
05:39 willthechill I don't mind waking up
05:39 willthechill bye!  :)
05:45 travis-ci RPerl build failed. bulk88 says 'fix travis 10_parse.t failures
05:45 travis-ci http://travis-ci.org/wbraswell/rperl/builds/66162431 https://github.com/wbraswell/rperl/compare/065e148d1417...b53bfc7bc1e1
05:57 bulk88 I fixed parser.pm in blib earlier today during the keynote talk, and git cleaned away all my fixes later :-(
07:16 travis-ci RPerl build passed. bulk88 says 'fix another uninit warning for 10_parse.t+win32 fixes in Parser.pm
07:16 travis-ci http://travis-ci.org/wbraswell/rperl/builds/66167738 https://github.com/wbraswell/rperl/compare/b53bfc7bc1e1...a05bd6f1a590

15:42 willthechill bulk88: two travis passes, nice!  :)
15:45 bulk88 the "child proc stdout pipe buffer to parent fills and blocks/hangs on win32" commit needs to be discussed, i put in a branch on purpose
15:46 bulk88 also all perl -cW tests fail, so 10_parse.t , 11_generate.t,  12_compile*.t fail completly on win32 STILL
15:47 bulk88 we will tlak in person about it
15:47 bulk88 its the warnings fatal and etc debate
