00:20 willthechill bulk88: okay I'm kinda dumb, I fixed the circular nature off the header-file-copying issue, but I'm still copying header files instead of using the ccflags-define solution we discussed
00:21 willthechill so I need to do that tonight!  :P
02:16 bulk88 willthechill the temporary alternative is to have a master.h and always make a copy of it
02:16 bulk88 then set the copy .h to CPPTYPES or PERLTYPES (one of which is unchanged I think cuz its the default)
02:16 bulk88 dont change the master copy
02:17 bulk88 rperl compile process never sees the master .h
02:17 bulk88 *C++ compiel process
02:44 willthechill bulk88: my current solution is similar, but still requires file copies and deletes
02:44 willthechill I will attempt to switch to using the ccflags solution tonight
03:11 bulk88 but your solution modifies the copy always, if you have a read-only master it wont get in a funk unless your runing multiple rperl compiler processes
03:11 bulk88 a master copy solves the ctrl-c problem (but not the paralle problem)

10:18 willthechill bulk88: I thought the same as you, but I was wrong.  the ctrl-C problem persists because there is a pervasive, inherited ifdef check through all the CPP code which causes a die if the copied file gets deleted and then ctrl-C is pressed before the new copy of the master is created
10:18 willthechill thus, I must (at least attempt to) implement the ccflags solution

19:05 willthechill bulk88: I figured it out, but it has required me to patch both Inline::C and Inline::Filters, so I have not yet created pull requests for either of those and I have not yet posted my own RPerl code to github either
19:06 willthechill I will probably do so when I get home from camping on Sat night, unless the trip is canceled due to Bill
