09:14 travis-ci perl11/potion#927 (pcg - 5a39798 : Reini Urban): The build is still failing. https://travis-ci.org/perl11/potion/builds/92672498
09:26 willthechill rurban: travis finally seems to support Perl v5.22!
09:26 willthechill https://travis-ci.org/wbraswell/rperl/jobs/92671081
09:26 willthechill https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/4077
09:27 willthechill (still actually building now, hopefully will complete successfully soon)
09:45 rurban oh, nice
09:46 rurban but I keep using https://travis-perl.github.io/init so I can track blead and debugging versions
09:47 travis-ci RPerl build passed. Will Braswell says 'Travis CI, Enable Perl v5.22 Support'
09:47 travis-ci https://travis-ci.org/wbraswell/rperl/builds/92671072 https://github.com/wbraswell/rperl/compare/6d6d9ad22ed9...3b98258552d8
09:48 willthechill IT WORKS!
09:52 rurban I'm using 5.22 as first test, because it is the fastest, and I get results earlier
09:54 willthechill I'm using 5.18 on my laptop
09:54 willthechill all other tests run on Travis or CPAN testers
09:54 willthechill and hopefully soon Appveyor for Windows when bulk88 and I work on it
10:00 rurban I mean put - 5.22 first in .travis.yml
10:01 willthechill oh I understand now
10:02 willthechill but that would interfere with my OCD of having the version numbers in proper ascending order, haha!  ;)
10:03 willthechill can you come to OSCON in Austin next May?
10:04 rurban maybe. I'm thinking of it
10:04 rurban when is the paper deadline?
10:06 willthechill tomorrow
10:06 willthechill I'm writing my 3rd one right now
10:06 willthechill 2 already submitted
10:06 willthechill you should come, it will be fun!  :D
10:06 willthechill bring Mirjam!  :D  :D
10:07 willthechill bulk88: OSCON 2016 is in Austin, May 16 - 19
10:07 willthechill be here!
10:08 rurban ok, will submit: "Adventures in improving perl5"
10:09 willthechill yes, adventures, sounds FUN!  :)
10:11 willthechill my 3 planned so far are "RPerl & The Future Of Perl Performance" (40 mins), "Start A Cult!  Building A FOSS Community From Scratch" (40 mins), and "From Zero To RPerl" (3 hours)

11:14 rurban submitted it
11:14 willthechill rurban++
11:14 rurban But I guess it will be too controversial calling out the p5p bullies
11:15 willthechill oh dang
11:15 willthechill :(
11:15 rurban So it will be not accepted
11:15 willthechill boo*
11:16 willthechill boo!
11:22 willthechill why can't you make it less controversial so that it will get accepted?
11:29 rurban then it will not be that helpful to others
11:30 rurban I don't care about getting accepted or not. I just care about not lying
11:36 willthechill well you can still try to be helpful without lying
11:37 rurban yes, that's my goal exactly
11:38 willthechill well I should say: you can still try to be helpful without lying AND get accepted
11:38 rurban yes, that's also my goal. but getting accepted is not premium
11:39 willthechill *nods* you are correct, my friend
11:39 rurban last time I gave this talk the p5p members in the audience were outraged
11:42 rurban like this: http://www.dresden.pm/gpw2015/html/talks/VmStatus.html#1
11:44 willthechill LOL
11:44 willthechill nice
11:44 willthechill true and so sad and terrible
