11:14 willthechill rurban: hello I just read your messages about dmake & strawberry
11:15 willthechill bulk88: are you familiar with dmake?
11:15 willthechill (I've never heard of it)
11:38 bulk88 https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rurban/p5-config/build/1.0.65 rurban I got XSConfig to work on appveyor without installing any additional software, 19 sec vs 2 min 30 sec for your solution
11:39 bulk88 that patch not in a final state, but prooves no additional software needs to be installed, the preinstalled activeperl 5.22 in the image, and the gmake from mingw in the image work fine after any number of tweaks
11:39 bulk88 *a numbber
11:40 bulk88 dmake is an abandoined maketool that open office used for many years
11:40 bulk88 its now [not really] maintained by perl community [bulk88 has a branch he needs to finish of dmake's C code]

12:47 rurban using the preinstalled perl is of course much better, great. maybe rperl can use its g++ also then.
12:49 rurban But I couldn't get gperf.exe yet working there.

14:01 willthechill okay yes we definitely will benefit from g++ for RPerl!  :D
14:02 willthechill bulk88: I still don't know how Appveyor really works, is there some way I can give you admin access to the RPerl Appveyor account?
