17:07 rurban bulk88: do you have an idea why https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rurban/cperl/build/5.22.2.793/job/taox8qcbagwja06h is failing with the signatures, on msvc only?
17:07 rurban works fine on mac and linux
17:07 rurban the smoke/gh7-signatures branch
17:08 rurban I want to merge them soon
17:11 rurban Do you really think that crypt is related to https://github.com/perl11/cperl/compare/smoke/gh95-tie_fetch_count.t?
17:28 bulk88 rurban, I reproduced the SEGV in tie_fetch_count.t on Win64+VC 2008, callstack showed it was in win32 crypt() when it SEGVed, then dr memory-ed it on Win32  (64 bit never made), again it showed out of bounds memory read
17:28 bulk88 I applied TonyC's patch a month ago, the SEGV in tie_fetch_count.t went away for me and i couldnt repro it anymore
17:30 bulk88 dr memory came out clean for the process after the tonyc patch
17:31 bulk88 win32 perl with threads puts 12 or 24 byte headers on all mem allocs, so even though a malloc(0) will ahve some spare bytes after the official end of the alloc, with win32 perl, a 12 byte alloc, could really sit against a page boundary
17:35 bulk88 ill start a build of gh7-sig on my machine and see what hapopens
17:37 bulk88 you want me to build gh7-signatures or gh7-sig+libs?
18:09 travis-ci perl11/cperl#660 (smoke/gh95-tie_fetch_count.t - f186bff : Tony Cook): The build passed. https://travis-ci.org/perl11/cperl/builds/100390729

18:27 rurban1 gh7-signatures should pass, +libs fails
18:27 rurban1 goto is still broken, and some modules goto signatured subs (via AUTOLOAD)
18:28 rurban1 and when you start using typed signatures, you need to be a bit more careful when calling these functions
19:07 travis-ci perl11/cperl#661 (master - f3022ec : Tony Cook): The build passed. https://travis-ci.org/perl11/cperl/builds/100410294
