21:30 mako Consider it experimental (still working on it): https://ci.appveyor.com/project/93r/rperl-g7jdg
21:41 willthechill mako: checking now
21:44 willthechill mako: it looks like yours is NOT hanging on t/04_scalar so that is good!
21:44 willthechill it also looks like the only thing different on yours is the call to `dmake` at the very end of the 1 long custom line?
21:45 mako Excatly. Skipped t/09, t/12, and t/13.
21:45 willthechill okay but how does that help us to not get frozen on t/04?
21:49 mako On t/04, no idea. But building doesn't seem to get frozen on t/04. (Otherwise I'd have excluded it too in my weird 'dmake test'-line)
21:53 willthechill okay well the main thing that matters to me right now is getting my appveyor unfrozen on t/04
21:55 mako Wait, do you still have a link to the last of frozen appveyor build. I'd like to have a look on it.
21:55 willthechill it is always the same url
21:55 willthechill it never changes
21:56 mako Ok.
21:56 mako One moment, please.
21:56 willthechill please tell me when you are ready, and I will click "rebuild"
21:56 willthechill that frozen VM is no longer live, you can see the frozen output but you can't log into the VM
21:59 mako Not needed. I have a slightly better picture now.
21:59 mako # [[[ Beginning Interpret-Execute Tests, RPerl Execution System, PERL Operations & PERL Data Types ]]] # Test File #1 of 207: blib/lib/RPerl/Test/Conditional/program_05_good.pl
21:59 mako This is were the build hangs.
22:00 willthechill ah okay, so it is NOT hanging in t/04!
22:00 willthechill I don't know why I thought it was t/04
22:01 willthechill it is hanging in t/09
22:01 willthechill not t/04
22:01 willthechill so that is why your appveyor is passing, because you are skipping t/09
22:01 mako Maybe, I told you it was in t/04. If so, sorry my bad.
22:01 willthechill now it all makes sense
22:01 willthechill well either way, now it is more clear
22:01 willthechill no worries
22:01 willthechill okay great, then please do carry on with your appveyor experiment
22:02 willthechill now that I understand what is going on, haha!  :-)
22:02 willthechill I am about to be away from the computer for several hours
22:02 willthechill let me know in the next few mins if you need me for anything
22:03 mako No deal. I still have a lot of work to do. t/12 and t/13 are not willing to work, too. I hope this is not my fault.
22:04 willthechill well don't worry about t/12 and t/13 until t/09 is working
22:04 willthechill just do t/09 first
22:05 willthechill if t/09 works then t/12 and t/13 may magically start working as well
22:05 willthechill MAY  ;)
22:06 mako You said it! On my agenda, captain. :-D
22:06 willthechill excellent
22:06 willthechill :-)
22:11 mako When I said 'not my fault', I had my commits on github in mind related to my changes to t/09, t/12, and t/13. But they were so simple they couldn't be an issue, could they?
22:13 willthechill according to github, your branch is up to date with the master branch, so that means appveyor SHOULD be passing all tests, because travis does pass all tests
22:14 willthechill unless you have some changes you made to files which are not yet committed to your github branch?
22:14 willthechill local-only changes?
22:16 willthechill gotta go, will check chat logs later tonight, good luck!  :-D
22:24 mako willthechill: Thx. No local changes. Everything is even with your master.
22:35 mako willthechill: Ok, we know the build on appveyor is hanging at t/09. Will have to do a lot of hacking, checking, and experimenting. Dr. mako's doing a critical surgery. So, please, don't disturb for the next days. mako working in progress...

23:30 mako bulk88: so if the hang's the same, what's the reason? The SEH thing you mentioned somewhere?
