18:49 japhb [Coke]: ISTR jnthn mentioning the merge back to nom would most likely require cherry-picking in order not to get a merge mess ....

19:02 japhb Oh holy cow, timotimo++ did a pile of fixes for perl6-bench!
19:02 japhb www

20:19 nine [Coke]: job's done :)
20:20 nine [Coke]: git cherry -v nom, removed the NQP version bumps from the commit list and fed the rest into for C in $(<release-commits) ; do git cherry-pick $C ; done

20:24 [Coke] ? my second commit I cherry picked I got a conflict.
20:24 [Coke] what is "-v? ?
20:24 timotimo nine: you know that for loop is easier done with "git rebase -i" and an editor? :)
20:25 timotimo actually ... probably not easier
21:19 nine [Coke]: -v is just for getting the summary in addition to the commit ids
21:27 nine [Coke]: I did also skip the first 2 or 3 commits as the commit messages did not have anything to do with the relase and I found the same messages in nom. Not sure why git didn't recognize them.
