19:32 pmichaud hello.... is this thing on?
19:32 Auzon Hi
19:32 Auzon moritz_: ping?
19:34 [particle] hi there
19:34 Auzon ok, I'll begin.
19:34 Auzon - More S03 work this week. Fairly productive so far, more so than in the past weeks.
19:34 Auzon - A lot of testing done on ranges. I have a few questions about infinite ranges, but nothing too bad.
19:34 Auzon - Did a lot of test cleaning and fudging yesterday for Rakudo. I intend to do more soon since it appears to be helpful.
19:34 Auzon EOR
19:35 [particle] seems moritz has also done a bunch of test cleaning, porting, and fudging
19:35 pmichaud http://www.pmichaud.com/perl6/rakudo-tests-2008-07-02.png   tells the tale.  :-)
19:35 [particle] it's indeed good news for rakudo and for the spectests in general
19:35 pmichaud compare 2008-07-02 with 2008-06-25
19:36 [particle] auzon: has anything been blocking you?
19:37 Auzon No, I don't have a bottleneck that I can see
19:37 [particle] great. next week is midway through. are you where you expected to be?
19:38 Auzon Yes.
19:38 [particle] hopefully moritz feels the same, 'cause he needs to do a midterm evaluation :)
19:39 pmichaud Auzon++ made an excellent suggestion for updates to my blog posts, but I'm thinking I'll do them as separate posts
19:39 [particle] ...actually he's already done a draft and asked pmichaud and i to review it
19:39 [particle] pmichaud: do tell
19:39 pmichaud it was suggesting that people come and look at TASKS for things to do in spectests
19:39 [particle] ah, yes
19:40 pmichaud so I'm going to make a post of "how can I help with tests?"
19:40 [particle] make sure to mention it on the perl 6 design call today
19:40 pmichaud will do.
19:40 Auzon I try to keep that file stocked of things to do that only require some basic P6 knowledge.
19:42 pmichaud I'm also going to mention the XXX markers
19:42 [particle] great.
19:46 [particle] any questions?
19:47 pmichaud no questions here
19:47 pmichaud outstanding work by Auzon and moritz
19:47 Auzon None here either. Thanks :)
19:47 pmichaud I just ran another test summary and we currently have 1365 passing tests
19:47 pmichaud that's an increase of 422 over last week
19:47 pmichaud *four*hundred*twenty*two*
19:48 Auzon Last week at this time or the end of last week?
19:48 pmichaud last week at this time.
19:48 Auzon Very impressive :)
19:48 pmichaud (I run a test summary right before the design meeting.)
19:48 pmichaud it'll be more soon, since chromatic++ fixed the lexicals issue.
19:48 pmichaud that means I should be able to get implicit $_ working
19:50 Auzon Hopefully I'll be able to see any bottlenecks in progress while fudging more tests later.
19:51 pmichaud when does gsoc end?
19:51 [particle] so, about 50% more passing tests than last week
19:51 pmichaud 44.7%
19:51 Auzon pmichaud: August 17th is the very last day
19:52 pmichaud hmm, I'll be coming home from YAPC::EU.  Remind me to write a letter about how incredibly useful/helpful this project has been to Rakudo and Perl 6 development.  :-)
19:52 pmichaud maybe it can be attached or quoted in whatever we send back to Google
19:52 pmichaud (for loose values of "we")
19:52 [particle] i'll make sure that happens
19:53 pmichaud I'll probably send a message off to Eric
19:53 pmichaud (also)
19:54 Auzon Thanks pmichaud++ and [particle]++ :)
19:55 [particle] keep up the good work, Auzon++ and moritz++
19:55 [particle] until next week....
19:55 pmichaud yes, definitely
19:55 pmichaud see you all next week
19:55 pmichaud I won't be here in two weeks -- have an all-day business trip
19:55 pmichaud (I might make it if there aren't any activities at this time... but it's not likely :-)
