20:50 pronik` moritz_: seems dead around there
20:52 moritz_ pronik: btw I've updated one of my boxes to Debian Testing, and I'm getting another error while building the book...
20:53 moritz_ http://moritz.faui2k3.org/tmp/book.log
21:06 pronik btw, I've noticed you are committing text fixes to the layout branch
21:06 pronik not that we needed to merge asap anyway ;)
21:06 moritz_ pronik: that was by accident - I cherry-picked them to master
21:06 pronik that error is extremely weird
21:08 * moritz_ seems to be a good souce of extermely weird errors
21:10 pronik I should probably setup a minimal debian testing system and test it out until it runs
21:10 pronik or maybe an ubuntu minimal -- which one would we settle on?
21:10 moritz_ debian please :-)
21:10 moritz_ less magic, easier to control
21:11 pronik ok
21:11 moritz_ oh, didn't cherry-pick all the text changes

21:12 * moritz_ uses amd64
21:13 pronik testing or stable?
21:13 pronik or sid? ;)
21:13 moritz_ I have one stable and one testing running
21:13 moritz_ the stable produced the old errors, testing the new errors :/
21:13 pronik I could start with stable then
21:13 moritz_ ok
21:14 pronik it's been a long time since I actually installed a debian system

21:15 dalek book: [rx] uglify the regex chapter, but make the code run at least. Probably also
21:15 dalek book: needs updates in the grammar chapter, to make up for the missing explanation of

21:27 pronik I'd probably prefer debian testing, since it includes a 2009er texlive as opposed to 2007er in stable
21:27 pronik but i'll try it with both
21:37 pronik wow, debian's graphical installer doesn't really suck anymore
21:38 moritz_ :-)
21:38 moritz_ they do improve, over time :-)
21:39 pronik I just remember the time I translated stuff for debian-installer -- long time ago
22:17 eternaleye joined #perl6book
22:19 pronik it takes a long long time to install texlive-full :)
22:19 pronik even more so twice for two vms
