12:33 guimaluf which set of openstack modules do you guys use to deploy the simplest openstack setup? I've tried fuel 2.1.2, fuel 3, stackforge, but in none of them I could deploy a simple allinone deployment. I don't know if I try to use a multinode or if I keep trying to deploy the allinone to advance to multinode.

18:39 guimaluf bodepd, which one is fully supported?
18:39 guimaluf bodepd, multinode ofcourse, right?
18:40 odyi guimaluf: controller node and compute nodes works very cleanly.
18:41 odyi Anyone with approval powers up for working with me to get my README_2.0 branches merged so we can do release today?
18:41 guimaluf odyi, if I run controller node and then compute node, does the instances get all-in-one then?
18:42 odyi Nah, it wil cause resource deplications.

19:03 bodepd odyi: I can look at it, I'm a little concerned about releasing keystone without this: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/32018/
19:04 openstackgerrit Mathieu Gagné proposed a change to stackforge/puppet-nova: Install dnsmasq-utils on RedHat platforms  https://review.openstack.org/30156
19:14 openstackgerrit A change was merged to stackforge/puppet-nova: Install dnsmasq-utils on RedHat platforms  https://review.openstack.org/30156
19:16 odyi bodepd: What id keeping 32018 form being merged?  A reviewing with approval power?
19:17 odyi The patch seems to be fairly well vetted.
19:20 openstackgerrit A change was merged to stackforge/puppet-horizon: Prepare repository for a Puppet Forge release  https://review.openstack.org/31361
19:21 openstackgerrit A change was merged to stackforge/puppet-cinder: Prepare repository for a Puppet Forge release  https://review.openstack.org/29196
19:21 bodepd odyi: it just came into existance yesterday
19:21 bodepd and represents a significant change in configuration. I believe it is also currently down-voted
19:22 * odyi sees the down vote now
19:23 odyi I'll test in now too.
19:23 odyi I really want to release be the end of the day so if people could take some time to come to agreement, I'd be rather excited.
19:24 * odyi wants to have the 2.0 releases out for Red Hat Summit

20:08 bodepd I think we can make the initial release without it if we are pressing for today
20:09 bodepd the GUID default works and is tested
20:09 bodepd it's just less then idea
20:09 bodepd ideal
20:09 openstackgerrit A change was merged to stackforge/puppet-keystone: PKI should be the default token_format  https://review.openstack.org/32018
20:09 odyi ARGH!
20:09 odyi I didn't mean for that to happen.
20:09 odyi I thought we needed two approvals.
20:09 bodepd well, it happened :)
20:09 bodepd no.
20:09 bodepd one +2 and and +2 approval
20:10 odyi I did a +1 +1, nothing yesterday I did that to actually caused a merge.
20:10 bodepd as long as you tested it and redhat's issues are resolved, it's fine by me
20:10 bodepd someone on my side was also going to test it today
20:11 odyi Read my comment and let me know if you think we should revert.  You can't go from UUID to PKI.
20:15 bodepd hmm.
20:17 bodepd just reviewed. can you just open a ticket outlining your upgrade concerns.
20:17 bodepd I think it's fine to release with that patch
20:17 bodepd as long as clean install doesn't explode, I think it's ok
20:17 odyi I am actually fine with it this way.
20:18 bodepd you mean, with GUID?
20:18 odyi No, with the inability to migrate from GUID to PKI.
20:18 bodepd why?
20:20 odyi Past experience has shown that mass migration of PKI systems in Puppet to be overly complex and should be done using orchestation tools.
20:21 odyi Also haven't been able to find documentation on the workflow one would take for moving between each.
20:37 otherwiseguy joined #puppet-openstack
20:40 bodepd odyi: it is not really a typical PKI system
20:40 bodepd it is utilizing PKI as an optomization.
20:40 bodepd so that each client does not need to constantly query the keystone server

23:48 comptona hm. I saw that Jenkins was still unhappy with my last change to #29977; I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong there
23:49 bodepd comptona: it looks like the tests are doing their job.
