13:36 Axtens hello
13:36 Axtens can anyone tell me why " Recently-Updated Tasks:" no longer works?
13:36 Axtens when I open the website it keeps showing the same old same old
13:38 mikemol Axtens: Looking.
13:38 mikemol Axtens: Caching.
13:38 mikemol Click on "More", and you get a different set.
13:38 mikemol Er, wait. That's pagination. Hang on.
13:42 mikemol I just triggered a rebuild of the semantic data. We'll see if that fixes it.
13:42 mikemol After about five minutes, it's 1.4% complete. So figure it'll be done in around an hour.
13:43 Axtens cool. thanks.
13:43 mikemol Maybe less than twenty minutes. Up to 3.3% now.
13:50 mikemol I don't think it's going to fix it. The first three results, if you look at their individual histories, were last modified in 2013.
13:51 mikemol So something broke the semantic search of page update times around then.
13:51 Axtens so it would appear
13:52 Axtens though i'm sure i've seen a functioning list between then and now
13:53 mikemol OK, looks like semantic searching based on page update times works fine. That template just isn't doing the necessary sorting; it's only querying for [[Is task::true]].
13:53 fedaykin http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Is_task::true (Doesn't exist, try http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Special:Search/Is%20task::true )
13:55 mikemol OK, I think I see what happened. At some point, the "order" parameter to the #ask inline semantic query stuff became case-sensitive.
13:56 mikemol In the template, there's "order=DESC". But if DESC is made lower case, it appears to work.
14:01 mikemol Axtens: How's the front page look now?
14:13 Axtens was it intended to have the 3 columns side by side or one after the other? if the latter, then it's all good / bahot achcha / gutpela tru.
14:14 mikemol Axtens: I got rid of the three-columns approach, as it always looked ugly, and couldn't be made decently reflowable without, well, writing my own theme.
14:15 Axtens Looking good, Mike. And the "contents" at the top helps to enforce the structure.
14:16 Axtens reinforce
14:18 mikemol That's automatic, courtesy of MW.
14:18 mikemol I'd actually suppress it, except that'd make the page a lot harder to navigate on mobile.
14:21 Axtens such is life
