10:11 bluenemo viq, hm. I always know when I plan to write 'lots of text' i'm doing it wrong. but in this pillar case I have no idea how to make it simpler without it. pillars can only get data from grains (and other pillars? or no pillar data for pillar files at all)
10:11 bluenemo ?

10:13 viq No, no pillar data in pillars. Yes, you can use grains. You can also use jinja maps and/or set jinja variables at the top and use them - but again, those can't depend on pillars.

10:16 bluenemo viq, hm. using a map might be a good idea in my case. thanks for your help :)

19:11 VictorLin Hi guys, I have a question about salt stack, I try to get my docker container running, and I need to bind to its port to docker default gateway
19:11 VictorLin so I wrote something like this {{ grains['ip_interfaces']['docker0'][0] }}
19:11 VictorLin however, it doesn't work, since by the time my .sls file is rendered, docker is not yet provisioned
19:12 VictorLin so there is no docker0 network interface availabe
19:13 VictorLin so, my problem is - is there any way to delay rendering of .sls file? So that by the time docker0 will be available
