10:50 simong I'm probably missing something obvious but I keep getting http://localhost in my assertionconsumerservice tags
10:51 simong I need to configure the hostname somewhere, but I'm kinda at a loss as to where

11:20 balo oh, he's gone
11:21 balo but i think it caused by a missing <Host/> config in the shibboleth2.xml in the <RequestMap/> tag
11:31 simong Odd, I do have that in my config
11:34 balo hm
11:34 simong I am proxying from nginx over fastcgi though
11:34 simong maybe it's forwarding it as localhost
11:35 simong Yea that was it -_-
11:35 balo thanks for sharing the solution :)
13:32 simong Is there a way to have your SP metadata (/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata) output AssertionConsumerService bindings for multiple hosts ?
13:32 simong without crafting one manually
13:37 balo yes
13:37 balo you need more hosts record and of course different vhosts for the domains
13:40 simong Do you have an example somewhere by any chance?
13:43 balo yes but only at the evening, sorry
13:43 balo now i have a lot of work to do :(
13:45 simong sure thing
13:52 simong balo: what I mean is that when I go to http://oae.oae-performance.oaeproject.org/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata or http://cam.oae-performance.oaeproject.org/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata I see both their URLs in the metadata and not each one respectively
13:52 simong both go towards the same apache / shib server
14:01 balo oh, that's a different thing
14:02 balo i'm using the same apache and more applications behind it. they are on different subdomains (like in your case). but only the appropriate url needed in the metadata
14:02 simong Ah, ours is slightly different
14:02 simong we have 1 application supporting multiple domains
14:03 simong and we want to register 1 SP
14:03 simong for all those domains
14:03 balo url -L -k https://stewie.sch.bme.hu/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata
14:03 balo curl -L -k https://redmine.kirdev.sch.bme.hu/Shibboleth.sso/Metadata
14:04 balo same apache, same host, one sp
14:04 balo different domains
14:04 simong That's now really what I'm after
14:05 simong I want something like the ticket.iop.org guys in the UK federation (http://metadata.ukfederation.org.uk/ukfederation-metadata.xml )
14:05 simong this is their metadata: http://pastebin.com/Pzu3pyjC
14:06 balo that's a huge metadata :D
14:06 simong Yeah, I copied the relevant bit in the pastebin
14:06 simong essentially, I want AssertionConsumerServices for multiple domains
14:07 simong balo, any idea?
14:08 balo i have a setup i show you before. in my metadata i only have 1 url at a time

22:47 balo still can't really help... :D
22:47 pdurbin well, at least you're trying :)
23:01 balo :)
23:01 balo pdurbin: do you like hobby electronics stuff? or just too much hardware for you?:)
23:01 balo personally i like this (video)blog: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6qopB8bd5w
23:02 balo fascinating sometimes. complex machines built from simple parts :)
23:03 pdurbin balo: codex in #crimsonfu and I keep talking about hardware hacking. all talk so far ;)
