15:14 darkcorner Hey everyone. I'm installing Thinkup for the first time and am having trouble getting the email account confirmation. Checked SPAM folder etc. but no dice. Any tips?

16:35 CDMoyer Where did you install it, darkcorner?
16:36 CDMoyer Do you know if it can successfully send other mail?
16:37 CDMoyer You can also circumvent the activation if you have database access.  Update the is_activated field on the tu_owners table.

21:47 darkcorner cdmoyer should I set the DB table value to 1?
21:49 darkcorner i'm not sure if I can send mail out. PHP looks set to send out. I'm going to try and see how that is going first.
22:57 CDMoyer Yeah, set it to 1.
22:58 CDMoyer You can try a simple php script, like <?php mail('me@email.com','Sbject!', 'Hi self!'); ?> just see if that sends.
