13:06 mgage hi
13:19 aubreyja Hi
13:23 mgage I was wondering whether Jonathan Duncan would be a good candidate to participate in sagedays -- because of timing issues he can't make it to any of the ww code camps
13:24 aubreyja ah, good suggestion - plus it's close
13:24 mgage yes
13:24 mgage I'll send him a note and see if he is interested.
13:24 aubreyja Geoff Goehle wrote to me last night - he's working on his achievement system - I'm replying now (with cc to you, etc.)
13:25 mgage I was thinking he should be invited to ww codecamp2, but I'm open to other suggestions.
13:25 aubreyja do we have critical mass for cc1?
13:26 mgage (still grading by the way -- the topology exam was last night -- and I have two 6month review meetings with cs students -- so my response time is going to remain pretty bad.)
13:26 aubreyja finals week here too - on the bright side, it will all be over next week :)
13:26 mgage I think so, particularly if the locals come -- and I think there are some signs they might -- however if you think geoff would fit in better wwcc because of timing or interests I'm open to the idea
13:27 mgage exactly -- the students and I are in total agreement on this
13:27 mgage fit in better in wwcc1
13:27 aubreyja it might be reasonable to ask which he would be more interested in and is available to participate in
13:27 mgage ok -- could you include that in your reply to him?
13:28 aubreyja his work surely involves both 'core' work and js stuff
13:28 aubreyja sure
13:28 mgage ty
