01:57 mgage Paul_Pearson:  I think this commit to ww2.5.2 did that: https://github.com/openwebwork/webwork2-dev/commit/215673ab406800398fe9215847a91d1a165bf008
01:59 Paul_Pearson OK.  I'll tell my colleague that the "bug" has been fixed.
02:00 mgage it's in ww2.5.2 -- so they may not see it for a while.  Also I haven't fully tested it -- I'm going by the commit comment.
02:01 mgage Usually signing out and signing back in again works around the bug so it's not too urgent -- but I agree that it is annoying.

02:23 Andras Hello, any admin around?
02:23 mgage hi
02:24 Andras Hi Mike
02:24 mgage hi.  what's up?
02:25 Andras Our IT says we should disable "Password Autocomplete" in WeBWorK. Can you point me to where the login page is generated?
02:26 Andras I think I just have to insert an autocomplete = "off"
02:26 mgage the login page is webwork2/lib/WeBWorK/ContentGenerator/Login.pm
02:26 Andras Thanks. That was fast.
02:26 mgage I was about to say that autocomplete is a function of the browser -- I don't think we set it one way or another.
02:27 mgage but you may be able to disable it with an attribute at least for some browsers.
02:29 Andras let me try
02:29 mgage I just looked -- it's a new HTML5 attribute and is supposed to work in all browsers except opera
02:33 Andras It works! this is how the line looks with autocomplete off: print CGI::startform({-method=>"POST", -autocomplete=>"OFF", -action=>$r->uri});
02:34 mgage cool -- just don't count on it working with every browser and every platform -- but if it works with most of them that will be good.
02:35 Andras I only need it for whatever security software our IT is using ;-)
02:42 Andras I have another vulnerability flag.
02:42 Andras Cross-Frame Scripting - [OWASP 2010 A 10]
