00:02 mgage_ ionparticle: hi
00:06 ionparticle hi
00:07 ionparticle mgage_,
00:07 mgage_ (sorry I had to leave earlier -- it's just before finals and the students are desparate :-)
00:07 ionparticle lol
00:08 mgage_ about the bread crumbs -- I think they remain kind of useful -- sometimes people use the breadcrumbs to back out of a page, and sometimes they use the menu
00:08 ionparticle I haven't commented it out yet
00:08 mgage_ it might be even more useful if we go to a topdown menu for navigation which is one of the things Peter Staab is experimenting with in the develop version of WW
00:09 ionparticle but it looks a bit less cramped after I gave the title a big more space
00:09 mgage_ the bread crumbs give a sense of location -- which might be useful for screen readers as well.
00:09 ionparticle so it's not so bad looking now
00:10 mgage_ kk -- and feel free to experiment -- just adding my 2cents.
00:11 mgage_ about the logo -- there has been talk -- nothing definite.  There was some idea about changing WeBWorK to WebWork early last summer which got nixed by the students at the code camp who felt WebWork was too boring and WeBWorK was much better :-)
00:12 ionparticle LOL
00:12 mgage_ I drew that spider web using MacPaint on my mac SE at the time -- so I'm kind of fond of it -- but I'm not adamant about it.
00:13 mgage_ Jason Grout did an SVG tracing of the original which blows up better -- both of the images are out there in web land.

00:13 ionparticle current progress
00:13 ionparticle I broke warnings earlier somehow
00:14 mgage_ looks nice.  -- I like that you were able to get the indentation back on the menu -- that was bothering me a little in math4 theme.
00:14 ionparticle it came that way after I stripped out some of the old css that was interfering with bootstrap
00:15 ionparticle can you link me to the svg
00:15 ionparticle I'd like just the spider web
00:15 ionparticle also, do we need to MAA logo
00:15 mgage_ sure -- just a minute
00:15 ionparticle need the*
00:17 mgage_ I think that's negotiable -- the current NSF grant is under the MAA flagship -- so I think I'd keep that in the distribution for now if we can -- individual schools aren't required to conform to much of anything with the scheme.  Most have kept the spider web or incorporated it into the their own logo, which is nice of them.
00:17 mgage_ can you tell me what is on line 841 of Problem.pm?
00:19 ionparticle my @abc;
00:19 ionparticle print @abc[10];
00:19 ionparticle :x
00:20 ionparticle it's just me testing the warning css
00:20 mgage_ kk -- so no problem then?
00:20 ionparticle yeah
00:20 ionparticle I'd like to shrink the top banner height a bit
00:21 mgage_ if you send me an email I can send you back copies of the webwork images.  -- they might also be in your current webwork but I'm not sure.
00:21 ionparticle is there also a smaller MAA logo?
00:21 mgage_ sounds ok to me -- I'm glad to have someone look closely at the graphics.
00:22 mgage_ MAA logo -- I can send you what I've got -- and perhaps a pointer
00:22 mgage_ http://www.maa.org/maa_graphics_library/
00:25 ionparticle haha
00:25 ionparticle the current use technically violates their branding guide
00:26 ionparticle oh
00:26 ionparticle never mind
00:27 ionparticle this thing is confusing
00:27 mgage_ I think it's ok -- this is approved use (in fact they wanted it).  I have a .png version in my files so I can send that also -- do you have my email?
00:27 ionparticle it's fine, that version is probably the same as the one currently in Webwork
00:28 mgage_ yes -- but I don't think the sag spider web is in the webwork repo
00:28 ionparticle oh, right
00:28 mgage_ svg
00:29 ionparticle gage@math.rochester.edu
00:29 ionparticle ?
00:30 mgage_ yep
00:30 ionparticle sent
00:37 mgage_ sent back
00:38 ionparticle nice
00:38 ionparticle yeah, those look better
00:38 ionparticle lol
