17:13 mgage hi
17:49 Paul_Pearson joined #webwork
17:50 Paul_Pearson mgage On testcourses in the hope_math_131_pearson course, the library browser 1 has come to a halt (not loading) when I click on the Local Problems button.
17:50 Paul_Pearson Browsing the NPL via subject, chapter, and section is still working.
17:57 mgage ok -- I may not get to this for a while.  Nothing has changed there that I know of -- the most likely cause is a circular link.  I did link in the capaLibrary -- so it's possible that is a culprit.
18:00 mgage Never mind -- I think I found it quickly.  See if it works now.
18:01 mgage One of my unsuccessful attempts to link everything properly for physics_library but an extra link in rochester_physics_lib
18:01 mgage Paul_Pearson:
18:03 Paul_Pearson mgage Now when I click on the Library Browser (1, 2 or 3) it takes about 45 seconds to a minute to load.
18:03 Paul_Pearson Clicking buttons on the Library Browser page also takes about a minute to load.
18:04 Paul_Pearson The Local Problems button does work now, though.
18:04 mgage I'm restarting the server just in case some child got stuck
18:05 Paul_Pearson OK.  Let me know when its ready for testing.
18:05 mgage ready now
18:06 Paul_Pearson :)
18:06 Paul_Pearson Thanks!
18:07 mgage np -- thanks for the heads up
18:17 mgage checking out of hotel -- back on line once I find a cafe

18:55 mgage hi
18:56 mgage goehle: hi
18:56 goehle couple of questions
18:56 mgage ok
18:57 goehle have you had any thoughts about what to do with formatting and css, and, on a related note, is it worth it to try and fix how $PAR is used in pg.
18:58 goehle (Right now $PAR is used between paragraphs, which is very 90's.  In order to get anything to validate you now have to put paragraphs between <p></p> tags
