02:45 Paul_Pearson mgage Is there a way to make basis_cmp, etc., work with the new MathObjects Matrices?
02:48 Paul_Pearson (Note: I did not try to make anything work yet...)

13:39 hij Hello. I have a question about submitting work that has been done outside of the core team.
13:40 hij We have added some statistics routines. Who should I contact before submitting a pull request to make sure it is appropriate?

13:41 goehle hey mgage

15:43 Paul_Pearson mgage Is there a good way to use MathObject matrices and older routines like basis_cmp together?
15:44 Paul_Pearson Or, are there new answer checkers in the works to replace basis_cmp()?

17:14 goehle hey mgage
17:21 mgage hi goehle
17:21 goehle just wanted to let you know that I've put in a pull request for the new mathviewer
17:22 mgage I saw that -- I've been doing presentations at the MAA PREP13 workshop so haven't had a chance to pull things yet.
17:22 mgage Tell Paul if he comes back that basis_cmp() could definitely use a facelift and I
17:22 mgage don't think anyone else has done anything about it.
17:23 mgage him -- should talk to John Jones about submitting problems.
17:23 mgage hij
17:23 mgage or if he is submitting macros he can talk to jason, or me or you
17:25 goehle sounds good

19:44 Paul_Pearson goehle Would it be possible to make hard rules $HR dark (gray or black) using CSS?
19:46 Paul_Pearson The $HR get used for fraction answers that use two answer blanks stacked on top of each other with an $HR in between.
19:46 Paul_Pearson When the $HR is very light colored, it's not obvious that the result is a fraction.

20:02 Paul_Pearson mgage Something is fishy with the file manager on testcourses.
20:02 Paul_Pearson When I open a file and and click "Save as", I get an error:
20:02 Paul_Pearson Unknown action: Save As:
20:03 Paul_Pearson And the file does not save.  This error was not happening last night.

20:50 goehle hey Paul_Pearson
20:50 Paul_Pearson hi
20:50 goehle that should be possible
20:50 Paul_Pearson :)
20:51 goehle the only issue is it might be a bit inconsistant
20:51 goehle changing ti globally woudl affect everything
20:51 goehle so I would change it for .problem-content
20:51 goehle and the other environments where problems are rendered
20:51 Paul_Pearson sounds good
20:51 goehle but if they rendered outside of that environment then they wouldn't have the same styling
20:51 goehle coudl you send me an email
20:51 goehle otherwise I'll forget :(
20:52 goehle grgoehle@email.wcu.edu
20:52 goehle just a couple lines is fine
20:52 goehle I've got to head off tyough
20:52 goehle though
20:52 goehle ttyl
