15:42 aubreyja Hi mgage - did you see the pod? It's at least usable now - I'm going to start revamping the script and looking more into doxygen

17:20 mgage aubreyja:  I haven't looked yet -- office hours
17:23 mgage some references for doxygen:evernote:///view/11689220/s106/455a1f31-3b2d-4136-836c-4e4b3e325a80/455a1f31-3b2d-4136-836c-4e4b3e325a80/   evernote:///view/11689220/s106/c02ff99e-d811-4209-9dd4-46ee7d1ccb17/c02ff99e-d811-4209-9dd4-46ee7d1ccb17/

18:40 goehle hey mgage
18:40 goehle any advice on where to put the equation editor button
18:40 goehle in the pg editor?
18:42 mgage upper right hand corner perhaps?  that seems to be what Jean-Philippe was using
18:43 mgage below the headline -- on the  the "editing  set ..... "
18:43 mgage goehle: does that seem reasonable?
18:44 goehle Thats not too bad
18:44 goehle I'll go with that
18:44 mgage kk
18:44 goehle I could put another link there
18:44 goehle but then there would be an awful lot of them
18:45 mgage yes -- I think differentiating it a little from the info links would be a good idea.   I was thinking of making it a bit higher and more to the right
18:47 goehle hmm
18:47 goehle I didn't like how the old editor icon just sort of floated there
18:47 goehle I want it to be more integrated with the page
18:47 goehle so it looks like a part of the system
18:47 goehle not just glued on top of it
18:48 mgage another place "edit this entry" buttons appear is in the lower right corner of the textarea field.  -- you could place it just outside the field on the lower right -- need to check it on a couple of browsers since it might not always look the same.
18:49 mgage the other thing is that if you are using the pi image then even putting it in the infolink line would be ok (either at the beginning or the end) since with that logo it would look very different from the others.
18:50 goehle I was going to use the same kind of buttion that I do in Problem.pm
18:51 goehle Edit this entry?
18:53 mgage is an icon more compact?  -- then using words?
18:54 goehle it si
18:54 goehle although i'm not sure compactness is actually a virtue here
18:54 goehle with the problem equation editor
18:54 goehle the editor is attached to the input very tightly
18:55 goehle here the editor button will be more removed
18:55 goehle so using something more descriptive might give a better indication of what it actually does
18:55 mgage that's true
18:55 mgage go ahead with that -- the exact form of the icon can be adjusted if it confuses people or if they miss it .
18:56 mgage that's the main thing I'd worry about with words is that people wouldn't notice it among all the other infolinks
18:58 mgage afj
18:59 mgage afk

19:22 nsouer Greetings all, I administer a rhel-clone system which is currently running webwork 2.7
19:22 nsouer the apache children processes had grown to consume almost 4 gigs of memory under a fairly light load
19:23 nsouer I was wondering is someone might be able to point me in the right direction for some troubleshooting
19:23 nsouer I know what i have offered isn't much to go on, but I should be able to answer any relevant questions
19:46 nsouer left #webwork
