21:45 goehle hey mgage
21:46 mgage hi
21:46 mgage goehle: hi
21:47 goehle so I'
21:47 goehle I've been playing around with bootstrap 3
21:47 mgage kk
21:47 goehle http://agora.cs.wcu.edu/~goehle/index.shtml
21:47 goehle go there
21:47 goehle start with the window wide
21:47 goehle and then simulate going to smaller and smaller screens by making it narrower
21:48 mgage looks pretty good
21:49 goehle notice how the elements shift around
21:49 goehle and the image and links dissapear
21:49 mgage yes
21:49 goehle and the navbar becomes a dropdown
21:49 goehle do we want to put some of this stuff into math4?
21:49 mgage hadn't noticed that but now I do
21:49 goehle or is the new interface the next big thing
21:50 mgage I think we should start a math5 -- or think of more interesting names for the themes. :-)
21:50 goehle :D
21:50 mgage the new interface ail be a while yet -- I expect a 2.9 release before that is entirely ready
21:50 goehle ok
21:50 goehle well I'll put it on the list of things to do
21:51 goehle I'll take another crack at testing the 2.8 candidate tomorrow
21:51 mgage also as we develop new themes I want to try to make it easier to customize them in small ways
21:51 goehle yeah
21:51 goehle thats an issue
21:51 goehle so heres the question
21:52 goehle do you want a js less interpreter integrated with everything
21:52 mgage did you see the discussion on console.log()?  I'm nearly positive that is what is causing the trouble on IE9
21:52 goehle it ups the complexity ab it
21:52 goehle I did know that IE9 caused trouble with the library browser menues
21:52 goehle or at least I suspected it
21:52 goehle but I hadn't read the email
21:53 mgage take a look -- I included you on the last of the exchange and it's also in a recent bug #2943
21:53 goehle ok, will do
21:54 mgage I'm still a few days away from having any real time to do things.
21:55 mgage Another long standing bug -- which we'll live with for now -- is the report of the hardcopy memory leak -- I'm pretty sure that is real and has been there for ever.  It's one part of the region the WW footprint gets so big.
21:55 mgage reason
21:55 goehle ah
21:55 goehle that sounds like a complicated one
21:55 goehle ok
21:55 goehle well looks like there is stuff to do.
21:56 goehle I've got to head out
21:56 goehle ttyl
21:56 mgage never an end to it .   but thanks so much for putting some work in on checking the 2.8 candidate
21:56 goehle np
21:56 mgage it's a big help
21:56 goehle can never have too much testing
21:56 mgage ttyl
