04:32 ribasushi mohawk: I am on a business trip, very little time for OSS
04:32 ribasushi not sure what kind of thoughts you are looking for though - can you clarify?
04:33 ribasushi I don't have access to any of the modules named, hence am confused
04:34 ribasushi ashimema: what you are describing re copy() seems odd, leave yourself a breadcrumb so we can revisit in couple weeks

05:35 mohawk ribasushi, the first thought of yours i sought was: is 5.8.5 still supported, or should we just say 5.8.8?
05:36 mohawk and for the 5.10 one, is that something you've come across?
05:36 mohawk sorry to be unclear
05:36 mohawk enjoy the business trip ;-)
08:20 ashimema breadcrumb: I had to disable cascade_copy on a has_many relationship and then hook around the existing copy on that resultset to add back in the cascade to call find_or_create (as my 'insert on that resultset is hooked around to automatically create a related row on all creates).
08:20 ashimema likely not the cleanest way of doing what I was doing.. but at this point I'm not being given any time to refactor code properly :(
